Ultra Accurate Data Entry Simulator
A downloadable game for Windows
Welcome to your first day at Snackstar Studios, a studio so revolutionary you might say they (re)invented the wheel! As a data entry engineer, it is your job to train the algorithm of the game to understand what action does what. Cross-reference your notes, with what you see and submit the correct values to ensure AI supremacy in a game that does not need it (don't tell HR I said that!)
As your day begins, you will receive a folder of inputs the players took. This contains what each player did on their specific turn. You need to cross-reference these inputs with the damage values in your documentation book, as well as watch out for any modifiers such as a player blocking. Once you feel good about the data, submit the expected health of each player on your laptop. The system will detect faulty data, and will punish you for it - however if you make the right choices, our systems get smarter!
At Snackstar we use the three-strike system. Submit faulty data 3 times, and we send you home. Similarly, we are trying this new thing of nano-contracting, where we only sign you on for five minutes of work. Please do not work any longer than 5 minutes. When your shift ends, including prematurely, we will let you know your overall performance, which we will Eventually™ compensate you for. For now, you may use that number as a means of bragging right, sharing to your friends how much more valuable you were to the research of Snackstar Studios than they were.

The text in this game might be hard to read by some people. As such, I included a setting in this game that swaps the fonts of the game for a dyslexia friendly font. Sadly, with a 48 hour time limit, I could not make a full round of accessibility testing, so if something else proves difficult, let me know and I may patch it for the future.
This project was developed independently. All materials, including models, textures, code, and designs were developed by me alone.
Despite this, this was my first time working with custom renderers and a more intermediate level of shader development I wasn't familiar with. As such, much of the shader and renderer development can be attributed to Robin Seibold, whose dev logs ensured that the style I had in mind was achieved.
The game has no audio, as I had no time to implement nor record audio.
